It is with deep regret and sadness that we are forced to announce the closure of our kitchen and restaurant.

We have been facing a substantial increase in our costs with more cost increases on the horizon. These cost increases include;

Increases in taxation
Gas, electricity and water
Insurances
Produce

This is an exceptionally hard time for pubs and restaurants across the country with more than 400 pubs closing in 2024 alone. All closing due to rising costs, cautious customer spending, extortionate energy bills, all whilst still trying to recover from the Covid 19 pandemic.

If these challenges where not enough, 2025 brings us more hardship with wage increases, rise of national insurance contributions, reduced discount on business rates and further energy increases.

We do not believe the price increase it would require to maintain a viable business would be acceptable to our customers, for that reason we have taken this heartbreaking decision.

Current opening hours and food service will remain until 30th March 2025, after which the bar will continue to remain open with revised opening hours.

We would like to thank our loyal staff and customers that have been with us for the past 8 years.

We apologise for any inconvenience this decision will cause to customers who have made bookings for April and beyond.
